Unwatch, operated by Elowin Labs LLC, sets no cookies, first-party or third-party. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to: our analytics provider, Plausible, works without cookies and without personal data.

Browser storage we do use

The site keeps a few values in your browser's local storage, under this site's origin only, so that it can remember your choices and your recent summaries. Each one is set by something you did on the page.

• unwatch.theme: light or dark, set when you press the theme toggle.
• unwatch.engine: the summary engine you selected from the menu.
• unwatch.webllmModel: the WebGPU model you selected.
• unwatch.history: your last 20 summaries (title, chapters, key points), set when a summary finishes. The Clear button under Recent summaries removes it.

Your browser also caches the WebGPU model weights and library after the first download, using its normal cache storage, so later runs work offline. Clearing site data for unwatch.video removes everything listed here.

Third parties

Requests your browser makes to YouTube (video title and thumbnail), Google (Chrome's built-in model), Hugging Face and jsDelivr (WebGPU model and library) are governed by those providers' own policies. None of them are triggered by a cookie of ours.
